AMISH PASTE - Many seed savers believe this is the ultimate paste tomato. Giant, blocky, Roma type tomatoes have delicious red flesh that is perfect for paste and canning. It has world-class flavor and comes from an Amish community in Wisconsin.

BRANDYWINE - dating back to 1885, is often considered the standard for heirloom tomatoes. With a rich, deep, superb flavor, the large beefsteak-style fruits often grow to over 1 lb. and have a deep pink skin and smooth, red flesh, perfect for slicing and eating fresh. With it's distinctive potato-leaf shaped leaves, Brandywine is easy to distinguish from other tomatoes even before fruit set.

GREEN ZEBRA – This is definitely Erin's favorite tomato. She loves Green Zebra’s sweet tartness and primarily we eat them sliced fresh and made into caprese salad with salt, pepper, basil and mozzarella. Beautiful chartreuse color appears when ripe with deep lime-green stripes- very attractive. Flesh is bright green and very rich tasting, sweet with a sharp bite to it (just too good to describe!).

HUNGARIAN HEART – This is one of Pete's favorite tomatoes. Brilliant reddish-pink oxheart type fruit is large and sometimes huge- frequently exceeding one pound! The fruit is firm and meaty like all oxheart type- great for paste, canning or fresh use. The crack-resistant fruit contains very few seeds and shows very little tendency to develop cores- just rich tasting, solid flesh across each hefty slice! Heavy production all season long. Originated outside of Budapest, Hungary, around 1900.

PANTANO ROMANESCO - A rare and very tasty Roman heirloom, this tomato has an old world charm to it with its Cinderella pumpkin shape and classic flavor. The fruit is medium-sized and deep red, with almost a purple tint with rich, juicy flesh. Really easy to grow and shows high disease resistance with very little cracking/splitting.

PINEAPPLE - Definitely one of the most beautiful tomatoes we grow with gorgeous yellow fruit and red marbled stripes throughout. Very large, up to 2 lbs each. We love to make huge slices for sandwiches or burgers to enjoy Pineapple's sweet, fruity flavor.

SAN MARZANO - Considered one of the best paste tomatoes of all time, with an old-world look and taste. Whole 4–6 oz. tomatoes peel easily and cook down quickly.  We always get requests for San Marzano seedlings as they are so tasty and easy to handle for sauce. Less pulp also makes them a bit tidier for chopping and eating fresh in salads.

Seedlings are available for pre-sale here until April 1, 2025. Your seedlings are grown to order and will be available for pickup in mid-May, ready to go straight into your garden or container planters (scroll product photos for example seedling size). We are planning for seedling pickup to occur on Friday, May 16 from 10:00am-6:00pm at our roadside stand at 5195 State Route 38A. We will email in advance to remind you and will notify you about any changes to the schedule due to weather.

This year we are growing our seedlings using soil blocking methods, eliminating plastic cell trays (which are easily broken and need regular replacing) and encouraging root development through air-pruning. This results in a stronger seedling with a larger volume of soil attached and helps us avoid root-bound transplants. Additionally we are including locally-made wool pellets from Otter Lake Farm & Fiber in Weedsport, NY in our certified organic potting soil mix for added fertility.

Please visit us in person at our on-farm Spring Plant Sale to purchase more varieties of tomato, pepper, herb, flower and vegetable seedlings, berry bushes and strawberry plants! May 17-18 and May 24-25, 10am-2pm at our roadside stand at 5195 State Route 38A, Auburn, NY 13021.

NOTE: Seedlings are available for local pickup at our farm in Auburn, NY only (no shipping).
