Korean Bush Cherry
Korean Bush Cherry
We grow out our Korean Bush Cherry seeds from seed harvested from a mother bush we planted at Auburn Permaculture Park in 2016. It’s a tradition now to visit the park in late June to snack on the small, tasty, shiny red berries that literally cover the whole 4’ bush. With tidy, bright green leaves, it’s such a beautiful landscape plant and we can make cherry pie filling to boot!
“Known as Angdoo in Korea, this popular, unique, and very attractive, small shrub is prized for its profuse, white, fragrant flowers and its small, sweet and flavorful, scarlet-red fruit. Korean Bush Cherries make a beautiful and delicious addition to your garden and edible landscape.” -description from onegreenworld.com*
